A pilot and crew will need to meet you about 90 minutes before sunrise. It's a bit of an early rise, but there's nothing like seeing the sunrise and passing landscape from above in a hot air balloon. Take a shuttle from the local partner's check-in office to the launch field in Pahrump, Nevada, about an hour west of the Las Vegas Strip.

There is no feeling of movement during takeoff; rather, it is as if the ground is slowly disappearing beneath you. The 45-60 minute trip will allow you to see the Spring and Nopah Mountain Ranges, Death Valley, and Eastern California from above.
